Learning Design: Fundamentals
This foundational course in learning and development principles will help students to develop and improve basic competencies for the talent development professional. Students will explore key theories of learning and their associated training strategies, review adult learning theory, determine the best approaches for learning transfer to the workplace, and successfully navigate the current terrain of workplace learning and performance. In addition, students will gain an understanding of themselves as learners and practice training design that conforms to the way people learn.
Registering at least three weeks prior to the course start date is highly recommended.
BEGINNING IN FALL 2024, this course will only be offered in the FALL and SUMMER semesters.
