Jason Greiff

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Jason Greiff is Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Center for Applied Liberal Arts, specializing in all areas of scriptwriting. He has won awards from the Writers Guild of America, an NYU Waldo Salt Award for screenwriting, and also an NYUSPS Teaching Excellence Award. Greiff has developed scripts with major studios and production companies including Universal and Marc Platt Productions. His screenplay, One Crash, Three Accidents, was published in Scenario magazine and he authored the chapter on “Tone and Theme” in Writing Movies (Bloomsbury USA). His students have sold scripts, produced movies, won contests, and are working movie and TV writers. He holds a BA from SUNY Purchase and an MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in Dramatic Writing.
