Marc Lieberman

Marc Lieberman has taught screenwriting at Gotham Writers Workshop, the University of California, and NYU. He has won awards for his published short fiction and screenwriting instruction. He co-wrote a screenplay that was sold to Paramount Pictures and has written three non-fiction books for a leading academic publisher in economics. Currently, he works as a script consultant for screenwriters and directors in the New York area and teaches screenwriting at NYU. Many of his former students have found success in the film industry, selling screenplays to major studios, writing and directing indie films, working as writers on network and streaming shows, and winning awards at film festivals. He holds a BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a PhD in economics from Princeton University.
