
Rachel Fleischer
Adjunct InstructorRachel is the Director of Clean Energy Communities at Solar One, a nonprofit whose mission is to design and deliver innovative education, training, and technical assistance that fosters sustainability and resiliency in diverse urban environments. As Director of Clean Energy Communities, she connects New York City municipal agencies to state-funding for clean energy projects. She also acts as lead for the Brooklyn and Bronx Energy Hub, promoting the clean energy transition through community campaigns. Previously, Rachel was the Community Manager at the Urban Future Lab, supporting early stage climatetach startups across three programs.
Rachel completed her Masters in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management at the Robert F. Wagner School for Public Service. During her tenure, she was co-chair of the Social Innovation and Investment Alliance (SIIA), committed to building a network of future social impact professionals. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati in Fashion Design and spent five years as a designer in New York City, making her uniquely qualified to advise mid-career professionals transitioning into the climate space.
