Spiritual Writing
In a world that appears to have gone mad, harnessing our creativity for good can be an oasis during turbulent times. In this online class with bonus content (including guided meditations to attain optimum focus), students will learn how to develop and parse ideas, establish a writing ritual, create faith-based and memoir pieces, and use religious (prayers, talismans, paintings) or other personal artifacts (letters, diaries, notes, phone messages, texts, photos) to inform their writing, as they explore their personal values and learn how to incorporate them into their work. From spiritual beliefs to environmental concerns and purpose, based on life experiences and memories, from the past to the present, students will discover how to infuse their stories with deeper meaning. Led by instructor, Estelle Erasmus, author of Writing That Gets Noticed: Find Your Voice, Become a Better Storyteller, Get Published .
