Minor In Real Estate Development Curriculum

A minor in Real Estate Development provides a targeted set of courses to build a foundation of knowledge which can overlay and enhance complimentary study programs. Through courses in development fundamentals, market analysis, and management, the minor incorporates an interdisciplinary approach to make students fluent in the vocabulary, techniques, challenges, and opportunities facing the real estate industry. Students who complete the minor in Real Estate Development will have a grounding in the fundamentals of real estate and can pursue a range of career pathways that augment knowledge gained in a student’s chosen major.

In order to complete the minor in Real Estate Development, an undergraduate student must take fifteen (15) credits in courses that count toward the minor. This includes two (2) required real estate foundation courses, and then another seven (7) credits from an approved list of elective courses.
