Linda C. Lombardi, PhD, LHD (Hon) is an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Undergraduate Applied Studies (DAUS) and teaches healthcare management courses in the traditional classroom as well as in the online environment. She teaches courses in managing healthcare services, customer service, healthcare systems and operations, career exploration as well as offering workshops for professional and administrative staff.
Dr. Lombardi has broad experience in leading and managing healthcare services with a focus on public health. As Associate Executive Director at NYC H+H| Bellevue, Dr. Lombardi had responsibility for a broad array of functions/services ranging from Strategic Management and Care Experience to clinical support and financial services. Her collaborative, inclusive and outcomes-driven approach is central to her work whether in teaching, research, or management. She is committed to life-long learning and in addition to her academic credentials holds certifications in Coaching, Lean Management systems and Extended DISC (Behavioral Styles for Organizational Development). She is a Fellow, New York Academy of Medicine and Fellow, Planetree International-Person-Centered Care.
In 2019, Dr. Lombardi founded The Leslin Healthcare Leadership Foundation (Leslin) a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit and serves as President/CEO. Leslin’s mission is “to discover and activate the leadership potential that resides in all of us.” It aims to empower those interested in healthcare as well as those working in the industry with the knowledge, support and compassion needed in the emerging healthcare environment.
