Vanessa Marquez is a life coach, content creator and events specialist. Her passion lies in merging movement, psychology, and the power of community to help people discover their authentic selves. Marquez loves pursuing creative ways of self-expression and coaching people in how to find authenticity within.
Throughout her journey, Marquez has built a space for transformation and is currently pursuing a Master's in Social Work: Her goal is to unite coaching, the power of experience and creative practices to facilitate the processing of life's challenges and connect with our authenticity.
Why I serve on the IDBEA committee...
As an asylum seeker from a country where hyperinflation, political unrest, and scarcity forced millions to leave searching for a better life, I am all too familiar with the IDBEA plight. Throughout my professional journey, I have created programs that fostered allyship, networking, and employment opportunities for minority students. I strive to influence the spaces I embody to make IDBEA are common practice. I hope my participation in the NYU SPS IDBEA Committee helps shape a culture where all voices are heard, respected, and amplified on the student and employee fronts.
