My name is Dacier (day-sea-air) Casanova and I joined NYUSPS in the Fall of 2018. I am the Administrative Adie for the Office of Academic and Faculty Affairs (OAFA).

How I contribute to NYU SPS IDBEA initiatives…

I contribute to the IDBEA initiatives through my collaborative work on the Diversity Advocate subcommittee. This subcommittee has been charged with the task of reviewing the current hiring process for Full-time and Adjunct faculty members. This subcommittee specifically focuses on how diversity plays a role in the hiring process. In my current role in OAFA, I can provide a bit more insight into the hiring process as this is a key function of my office.
