New Students

As a new student at the NYU School of Professional Studies, you will need to acclimate yourself to the School's policies and procedures, attend an orientation session, acquire your Student ID number and your NYU Net ID number, meet with an academic counselor, open an email account, and be sure that you meet the University's immunization requirements. Please read the "Getting Started" section of this website carefully. Any additional questions can be directed to the Office of Student Affairs at sps.studentaffairs@nyu.edu.

Orientation

Before classes begin each fall, spring, and summer semester, the NYU School of Professional Studies Office of Student Affairs sponsors new student orientations. The goal of these orientations is to introduce students to: New York University, the NYU School of Professional Studies, their academic departments, academic resources and policies, and, most importantly, to one another.
