Michael J. Weiss has 44 years’ experience in commercial real estate. He specializes in corporate and sustainable real estate and is licensed to practice in 10 states. He is frequently asked to provide expert testimony, compose expert reports and provide litigation support in matters pertaining to commercial real estate. He has been an adjunct associate professor of real estate at New York University for the past 25 years and has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses, including: Commercial Lease Analysis, Market Analysis in Real Estate, Real Estate and Sustainability, Comparative Real Estate Markets in a Global Perspective, Market and Feasibility Analysis, and Real Estate Economics and Market Analysis. He has written articles for industry publications, such as Financial Executive Magazine. He is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate, the CCIM Institute and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in London. The latter has afforded him opportunities to conduct graduate program compliance reviews for institutions like Florida International University and Columbia University. He is an LEED accredited professional with the United States Green Building Council, in addition to a WELL accredited professional at the International Well Building Institute.
