Greeley Koch is an Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Tisch Center of Hospitality, where he teaches Corporate Travel Management and mentors emerging leaders through the NYU Hospitality Industry Incubator. Bringing real-world industry experience into the classroom, Greeley helps students understand how innovation, technology, and customer-centric strategy are reshaping the global hospitality and travel ecosystem.
Alongside his academic role, Greeley is the Managing Director of 490 Consulting, a strategic advisory firm focused on driving transformation across corporate travel, lodging, and travel technology. His work centers on modernizing how companies access content, design digital customer journeys, and deploy emerging tools such as AI to improve traveler experiences and business outcomes. He advises corporations, travel management companies, airlines, lodging providers, and technology platforms on growth strategy, partnerships, and go-to-market execution.
Greeley’s professional background spans both sides of the travel equation. He held senior procurement and travel leadership roles at Bank of America and Abbott Laboratories, where he managed large global travel programs and created one of the industry’s first consolidated meetings programs. He later served as Executive Director of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), guiding the global business travel community through periods of significant industry change and accelerating collaboration between buyers, suppliers, and innovators.
This blend of corporate, association, and consulting experience gives Greeley a unique perspective on how travel programs are designed, sold, and delivered. At NYU, he brings this perspective directly to students through applied learning, real-world case studies, and engagement with industry partners. His work with startups through the NYU ecosystem further strengthens the bridge between academic insight and practical
innovation.
