Professor Kenneth Wheeler brings over 30 years of experience to the faculty, having advised middle-market firms as both a lawyer and management consultant within the financial services sector.
Prior to joining the university, Professor Wheeler served as the Founder and Senior Partner of a full-service law firm. In this capacity, he worked closely with high-net-worth clients and their companies to formulate long-term strategic plans, specifically assisting them in identifying and capitalizing on private equity investment opportunities. Currently, he serves as a Managing Director at Marquee Venture Partners, LLC, where he leads the firm’s efforts to raise acquisition capital for rollup strategies and drives deal flow by identifying viable target companies.
In the classroom, Professor Wheeler integrates this real-world expertise directly into his curriculum. He draws upon his decades of client advisory work in previously teaching Customer Relationship Management, while utilizing his legal and venture capital background to guide students through the complex intersection of innovation and regulation in Cultural and Legal Implications of Digital Technology.
Professor Wheeler is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
