Ira Krawitz

Ira Krawitz is a seasoned senior marketing and communications professional. He has extensive experience analyzing a wide range of marketing, investor relations, public relations and branding issues and formulating comprehensive communications programs to achieve corporate objectives. He is currently teaching within the Integrated Marketing department at NYU’s School of Professional Studies as well as the Public Relations graduate degree program. 

Before joining the NYU faculty, he lectured at the City College of New York in both the Advertising/PR Program and the Public Service Administration Masters Program.

Prior to arriving at CCNY, he was SVP of Global Marketing at PR Newswire, the international news distribution service, where he researched and launched products and services for investor relations and public relations professionals worldwide. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Marketing at both the American and New York Stock Exchanges, as well as an award-winning advertising copywriter.
