The Student Resource Center, located in the Kimmel Center, coordinates referrals and resources for students on campus. The Kimmel Center also houses student clubs, activity spaces, a large theater, lounges, and other facilities. This office coordinates all University orientation programs for undergraduate and graduate students, and is a resource for addressing student concerns. It also publishes the Student’s Guide to NYU. A wide variety of maps, NYU informational material, and brochures on New York City’s cultural institutions is available.

University housing is very limited and is only available to full-time students who are enrolled in 12 credits of study each semester. If you would like to be considered for housing, a completed admissions application must be submitted to the Office of Admissions by the priority deadline for the fall term.

NYU also has an Off-Campus Housing Office which you will have access to once you are admitted to the University. Here you can acquire assistance in locating off-campus housing in the New York City area.

The New York University Student Health Center (SHC) is an award- winning, health care facility that is conveniently located on the Washington Square Campus. SHC provides comprehensive health and wellness services designed specifically to respond to the health needs and concerns of the NYU community, and to promote a healthier, safer campus.
