The NYU School of Professional Studies Schack Institute of Real Estate's New York City location provides students with a rich laboratory to study office, retail, industrial, and multifamily real estate. Students will have the opportunity to conduct field research, visit projects at various stages of development, tour historic sites and state-of-the-art buildings, and study the local and regional infrastructure. The "Senior Project: Internship," provides the opportunity for students to apply the knowledge they have gained in their major in an actual real estate industry setting.
Students may choose to fulfill some of their core degree requirements by studying at one of NYU's global sites in the second semester of their sophomore year. Study abroad requires an application process and is dependent upon approval from the NYU Global Programs Office. Before considering the opportunity, students should discuss this option with their academic advisor.
